An exclusive workshop reserved for students of the University of Palermo, where technology and emotional intelligence intersect.
This hands-on experience will guide participants through the innovative use of Palantir Foundry, a leading data analytics platform, to decode and analyze emotions from text. Designed for a select group of students, this private event offers an immersive learning journey to enhance technical and analytical skills.
Led by industry experts and organized in partnership with Open Data Playground, the workshop combines practical exercises with cutting-edge insights, offering participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of emotional intelligence and its applications in technology.
Participation is by invitation only and exclusively open to students of the University of Palermo.

How to participate
Participation is by invitation only and exclusively open to students of the University of Palermo.
Share the event:
- Form your team and proceed to purchase tickets on Ticket Tailor. Each team member must purchase a ticket. (If you are the team leader, check the appropriate checkbox).
- Join the Open Data Playground Discord channel to interact with other teams and/or get support
- Access the online training material "Palantir Training Course" and "Fastweb Digital Academy: Open Data Playground Online Courses"
- You will receive credentials to access Palantir's Foundry platform, where you’ll find data and instructions for the event.
- Once you have developed your final solution, upload it to Palantir in your team's dedicated folder.
Training courses preparatory to the event
Palantir
In order to use the Palantir Foundry Suite, participants will have to complete an online training course that will allow them to understand the logic and functionality of the tool they will have at their disposal.
This will be essential to ensure they are prepared for the challenges proposed by the hackathon.
Fastweb Digital Academy
Training programs have been selected by the Fastweb Digital Academy to help improve the soft skills related to each chosen course, which are essential for completing the hackathon.
These programs will allow participants to acquire the right interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with their colleagues.
At the end of each course, participants will receive a digital certificate of participation with a badge that can be displayed on LinkedIn.
